Quien poner unos perros eksteryor? Woof Woof

Wild and crazy evening! Thus, the “roughly translated” title … Who let the dogs out?!!!! Woof! Woof!

Angel arrived at Emerald Bay about 3:30, roughly 12 hours after leaving Anchorage. We had plans to meet Drew, Brittany, Donna, and kids at Los Zarapes at 6:30. We left Emerald Bay at 5:00 to catch the sunset at Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan. Arriving at PBM we found a lounge chair by the beach, snuggled on it, and enjoyed the sunset. It was nice to have Angel finally here.

We walked the short distance to Los Zarapes where we met our friends. Los Zarapes is a great place to dine, if you have a large group that includes children. Last night we were entertained, nonstop, by “Santa” and the house “Magician”. For food, we started with chips and bean dip, and the “unique” to Zarapes, “made at the table” salsa and guacamole. The adults sipped margaritas and beer; the kids, soft drinks. Santa arrived shortly after we were seated and began entertaining the children and the adults by making all of us balloon hats. Festiva!!! Woof! Woof!

When the main dishes arrived, everything was perfect. Angel ordered the San Ignacio, a nice grilled pork chop with all kinds of other “goodies” … seasoned rice, frijoles, salad. I had a similar plate, but with enchilada and tenderloin tips. Abuela Donna and London had the sopa pollo. It looked yummy! Range had a strip steak of some sort. I didn’t hear or pay attention to what Brittany, Drew, and River ordered, but everyone seemed to be happy with their meals.

The magician arrived at the table after most of the eating was done. He began doing a series of illusions and table tricks that impressed everyone. This isn’t a “second rate” show and is every bit as good as something you would see on stage in Vegas. The cool thing is that it is “tableside” and “free”. It is expected, that the table tip the entertainment, as the show progresses. Five dollars here, five dollars there … You’ll likely end up spending between $20 and $30 dollars for about and hour’s worth of fun. Inexpensive … and the kids love it!

We had a blast! Santa wound up on the floor after a “battle” with the “balloon banditos”. The evening ended with “Hasta Menana!” to our friends, a short walk to enjoy the sights near Los Zarapes, and a short ride home.

Angel and I are getting ready to start our day. Drew and family will be leaving tomorrow. Abuela Donna will be staying another week, same as us. She will have friends arriving over the next few days. I will continue to post our activities and photos, but will likely write less, as I want to enjoy my time with Angel …I’m hearing sighs of relief out there … We wish all of our family and friends safe travels throughout the Holiday Season! Enjoy each other, enjoy life. We are!
