Kelly's Bar

We hit happy hour at Kelly’s Bar, on premises, at 8:00 last night. The three of us doubled up on house margaritas, which were served to us on the veranda. This is a nice open air sitting area outside of the bar. We seat ourselves, away from the “action”, another group of touristas about 50 feet down the corridor. We’re nearly finished with our drinks when we are invited to join the group. They call Bob by name. Not a surprise. Like I said previously, he will know everyone by the time he leaves on Friday. We join the group. They are ordering wine. We recommend the house cabernet, which we’ve all had ample sample of at this juncture. The waiter approves and rushes off to retrieve a bottle and glasses. I snap a few photos and then sit back to observe and interact. We’re introduced to Beth, Chris, Randy, Jan, and others. They are all enjoying themselves, at a level one notch higher than us, as they began the festivities a little earlier than us. We help them polish off their bottle of L.A. Cetto. The group eventually shrinks, and we excuse ourselves from one another, to call it a night. We are back to our room at 11:00, and in the sack. It was a late night for the boys.

P.S. The tour today ended up costing $100 U.S., so Bob has agreed to pay half to the ladies. All things considered, this was a good deal for a full-day tour of sites outside of the city. We are planning on going downtown today.
