Dry weather

Good morning! It's been a dry spring in our region of Alaska. There are multiple wildfires in the area, as well as further into the interior of the state. Last evening, Angel and I went for a walk and I snapped a photo of the smoke and haze surrounding Pioneer Peak. I've included a clear (before) shot from a few days ago, so the difference in conditions should be apparent. Also, a few photos of the Renfro's Alaskan Adventure planes for your enjoyment. Renfro's is located in Bethel, Alaska and offers charter flight services, hunting and fishing drop-offs, as well as a variety of guided hunting and fishing packages. They are a good outfit to go with if you are flying out in that area. Competitive prices for hunting and fishing, but none of that is "cheap" in Alaska. There is a Renfro's website at Renfrosalaskanadventures.com. Our nephew, Colby is arriving this Thursday to begin his first Alaska adventure. He'll be heading down to Cooper Landing to learn a bit about what fishing and summer is like in that area. Colby has a job with one of the local fishing outfitters that should prove to be fun for him. Angel and I are going to Denali Park for three days in early June. Hopefully, we'll have some nice wildlife photos to share after that trip.
