Okay...so I said I'd post more pics of Zion...that'll wait until tomorrow. Today I'm going to share a video and some village photos taken by a friend. I was in Akiak on Tuesday and Wednesday for work. My buddy, Kevin, the Speech Pathologist, had taken several photos and videos of flooding and breakup, so I asked him if I could share a few on the blog. This has been a rather late, and sudden, breakup in many parts of Alaska. "Late and sudden" generally results in some pretty spectacular and destructive flooding. The village of Eagle, on the Yukon, has suffered some major damage this week. Thanks for the great photos, Kevin!
